Abstract

The psychological perspective of bullying is a perspective that shows the bullying
experienced by the heroes and heroin in the manga "A Silent Voice". There are
several reasons why the author chose the manga. One of them is based on the
manga ―A Silent Voice‖, it is a movie that has some intimidation in it. The
formulation of the research problem is; What types of bullying are described in
―Voices of Silence‖, manga by Yoshitoki Oima What and factors lead to bullying
in ―A Silent Voice‖? manga by Yoshitoki Oima.? The author uses a qualitative
descriptive method. In this study, the authors use the Psychoanalytic approach,
Sociological approach, Bullying theory, Types of Bullying, and Factors Causing
Bullying to support the writing of this thesis. The purpose of this study is to find
out what bullying is in the manga "A Silent Voice" and, to find out the factors that
cause bullying in the manga "A Silent Voice" including the factors and causes of
bullying in the manga "A Silent Voice". In the research above, the authors found
several causes of bullying found in manga (1) The types of bullying found were as
follows: Physical bullying, where bullying is found in chapters 1 to 4 where
bullying is only done to show that bullying can be done. towards victims who are
weak or have special needs because they cannot put up a fight against the
perpetrators of bullying and verbal bullying can be seen in chapters 1 to 2 where
this action is carried out by making strange calls and making writing that causes
the victim to faint. he sees victims being bullied because of their actions (2) There
are several factors that influence bullying g in this manga, including: deep family
relationships can be found in chapters 1 and 5 which feature several scenes where
Shonya does not have a good relationship with his mother and always selfish
towards his mother. Friends of the same age can be found in chapters 4 and 5
where Shonya begins to be shunned by his friends because of the bullying he did
until his school mates shunned him because of the bullying he did in the past
