Abstract

This study was aimed to find out whether any significant between before and after giving treatment in the experimental class. This research used quasi experimental design with pretest posttest control group design, while the research instrument is the from of giving question with multiple choice test. The sample was taken from eight grade student of MTs Tarbiyah Islamiyah Mayang Jambi. The experimental class was taught by Question Answer Relationship (QAR) strategy. Meanwhile the control class was taught without using Question Answer Strategy.Before giving the treatment, the students from both the classes were given a pretest to know their ability in reading comprehension. At the end of the treatment, the students were given postest. The data then were analyzed using statistics. The result shows that Question Asnwer Relationship Strategy (QAR), had proven to had significantly improved reading comprehension
