Abstract

The implementation of Kurikulum Tingkat Satuan Pendidkan (KTSP)/Education Unit Level Curriculum in Indonesia is still challenged by many problems, particularly dealing with teaching approach . The teacher in this contex look hard to found out an appropriate approach to teach meaningfully and contextually. This article, therefore, tried to proposed Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) as an alternative approach for teacher to ralate subject material with real life situations, also to motivate students apply their own knowledge into the real life conditions, thereby, teaching –learning process become meaning fully.
