Abstract

This research aimed to investigate the effect of PQ4R strategy on students’ reading comprehension in Eleventh grades at MAS Jauharus S’adah Batang Asai Sarolangun. This research was conducted by using a quasi experimental research. The technique of data collection was reading test. The total number of the population in the research was 44 students. The sample of the research was non probability sampling with total sampling. The result of this research showed that t-test was 0,015 < 0.05 in mean of the data. It is can be concluded that the students who were taught buy using PQ4R strategy achieve better than those who were taught by using making connection
