Abstract

Early childhood education is a coaching effort aimed at children from birth to six years of age through providing educational stimuli to help growth and physical and spiritual development so that children have both physical and mental readiness in entering further education. The form of early childhood education focuses on laying the foundation towards physical growth and development (fine and rough motor coordination), intelligence (thinking power, creativity, emotional intelligence, language intelligence, numerical intelligence, spiritual intelligence), social emotional (attitude and behavior and religion), language and communication in accordance with the uniqueness and developmental stages that are passed on by early childhood. Early childhood education efforts are used human / humanistic principles / approaches and include all aspects / potential of students and whole and round (physical-non-physical aspects: emotional-intellectual; psychomotor cognitive-affective), while humanistic approach is an approach where students are valued as a potential person, (having the ability to excess - deficiencies etc.), treated with compassion - warm - kinship - open - objective and full of honesty and in an atmosphere of freedom without any pressure / coercion whatsoever. Through the application of a humanistic approach, this education will truly be an aid effort for children to explore and develop their own potential and the world of life from all twists and turns.
