Abstract
Research determine purpose the influence between: (1) Motivation on learning achievement, (2) Motivation on learning outcomes, (3) Learning interest on learning achievement, (4) Learning interest on learning outcomes, (5) Learning achievement on learning outcomes. This research uses the path analysis method with a causal approach. The population of this study was the students of Jambi City Public High School with a population of 12 state high schools with a total of 4836 students, sample from each school amounted to 371 students. sample using probability sampling. From population 371, on 30 students, validity used Pearson Product Moment with an error rate of 5%, so the samples obtained had a 95% confidence, reliability used the Alpha Cronbach formula. From population 371, on 30 students, 341 with a sample of 181 students. The results showed, (a) positive effect motivation on learning achievement, path coefficient p13 = 0.422. (b) positive effect of motivation on learning outcomes, path coefficient p14 = 0.474. (c) positive influence of learning interest on learning achievement, path coefficient p23 = 0.529. (d) positive effect of learning interest on learning outcomes, path coefficient p24 = 0.548. (e) direct effect of learning achievement on learning outcomes, path coefficient p34 = 0.454. The concluded: (1) Motivation has positive effect on learning achievement. (2) Motivation positive effect on learning outcomes. (3) Interest in learning has a positive effect on learning achievement. (4) Interest in learning has a direct positive effect on learning outcomes. (5) Learning achievement directly influences learning outcomes.
