Abstract

This thesis discusses the use of teacher strategies in learning English in the field of writing. A teacher's strategy is a very important part of teaching and learning. How is an active and creative teacher in learning and teaching so that subject matter is easily accepted by students. The research design used in this study is qualitative. Data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. Based on research that has been done that the teacher uses several strategies in the teaching and learning process such as mind mapping and group discussion and the use of strategies in learning has a good impact in increasing student learning outcomes, students are more enthusiastic in following the learning material provided by the teacher.
