Abstract

A common problem in the pattern of education services, especially in education services in Madrasahs is the availability of human resources as a teacher as well as in the school managerial. It is realized that the need for more human resources is determined by the special qualifications of teachers and managers (managerial). The condition of education in the city of Jambi as well as not escape from the problems concerning managerial principals.The purpose of this study is to know and prove the direct or indirect influence: (1) Influence of Emotional Intelligence on Work Effectiveness, (2) Effect of Managerial Knowledge on Work Effectiveness; and (3) The Influence of Emotional Intelligence on Managerial Knowledge.The method used is survey method with path analysis approach to test the direct and indirect influence of the independent variable to the dependent variable. The population in this study is the entire headmasterMadrasahTsanawiyah in Jambi as the target population and as an affordable population as a sample frame taken by a number of 70 heads of madrasah. Taking the number of samples using simple random sampling (simple random sampling).This study concluded, among others: (1) Emotional Intelligence directly positively influence to Work Effectiveness, (2) Managerial Knowledge directly positively influence to Work Effectiveness; (3) Emotional Intelligence directly positively influence to Managerial Knowledge.
