Abstract

The results of this study indicate that the first are six types of figurative language, where the types of code switching are proposed by Spivey L. Becky. These types are Simile, Hyperbole, Personification, Metaphor, Onomatopoeia, and Symbolism. The second reason for the the contextual from types of figrative language in American and Indonesian Kids Song. And finally, there are comparative between American and Indonesian Kids Song.
